  • YORKSHIRE WOLDS CHARITY CYCLE CHALLENGE

    The first charity bike ride on the new Yorkshire Wolds Cycleway has been organized for the weekend of the 16th and 17th July, 2011. Participants aim to cover 146 miles over 2 days of riding.

    The cycle event will raise money for Ryedale Special Family, a charity that aims to support children and young adults with disabilities and special needs, as well as their families and/or carers.

  • ASSESSMENT OF CYCLE TOURISM IN THE YORKSHIRE WOLDS

    We have been appointed by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire to assess the economic impact of cycle tourism.  Earlier this year, VHEY launched its Big Skies Rides Guide – ten 17-30-mile circular routes over the rolling Yorkshire Wolds, the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route (a 150 mile route around the Wolds and (with partners) the 170 mile Way of the Roses a cross country route from Morecambe to Bridlington.
